The most active contract moved around the daily moving average for most of the day, and inched up in the afternoon on short-covering, finally ending down RMB 20/mt or 0.02% at RMB 84,430/mt. Trading volumes were down 94 lots to 1,472 lots, and positions were down 134 to 4,160.
