SHFE 1601 nickel opened at RMB 69,600/mt during Wednesday night session and once advanced to RMB 71,120/mt.

SHANGHAI, Dec. 3 (SMM) – SHFE 1601 nickel opened at RMB 69,600/mt during Wednesday night session and once advanced to RMB 71,120/mt, to close at RMB 70,270/mt.

The most actively-traded contract started at RMB 70,110/mt for day trading Thursday and fell back due to firm dollar with closing prices off 2.85% at RMB 68,150/mt. Trading volumes were up 254,000 to 1.11 million lots and positions reduced 14,598 to 296,000.
