SHFE Aluminum Ends with Slim Losses (Dec. 2, 2015)

SHFE 1602 aluminum climbed to RMB 10,370/mt after opening at RMB 10,275/mt on Wednesday.
SHANGHAI, Dec. 2 (SMM) –SHFE 1602 aluminum climbed to RMB 10,370/mt after opening at RMB 10,275/mt on Wednesday. But the contract then dipped to an intraday low of RMB 10,135/mt as shorts flooded in. Finally, the most active contract ended at RMB 10,190/mt. Trading volumes of SHFE 1602 aluminum were up 88,930 lots to 338,730 lots, and its positions were down 8,490 to 243,070. Total positions of all SHFE aluminum contracts were down 21,634 to 768,642. Positions of SHFE forward-month aluminum contracts increased significantly.
