SHANGHAI, Dec. 2 (SMM) – Lead prices in China are expected to seek suppport from production cut in Henan, SMM understands.
Some lead producers in Henan will slash production. This move aims to ensure a blue sky as Henan counts down for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit, which will be held in Zhengzhou on Dec. 14-15.
Primary lead capacity totals 1.57 million tonnes in Henan, accounting for 35% of total capacity in China. And secondary lead capacity comes at 450,000 tonnes there, claiming 11% of domestic total capacity.
