Turkish HMS 1/2 80:20 scrap import average prices (CFR Iskenderun Port, Turkey) slipped by $1 a ton week-on-week to $198 a ton in the week ended November 20.

ANKARA (Scrap Register): Turkish HMS 1/2 80:20 scrap import average prices (CFR Iskenderun Port, Turkey) slipped by $1 a ton week-on-week to $198 a ton in the week ended November 20, as per the latest figures from the Steel Index.

According to TSI, daily benchmark index for deep-sea Turkish imports of HMS #1&2 80:20 fell $5 a ton from last Friday to end the week at $195 a tont CFR Iskenderun port.

The market entered a lull following the activity that took place over the last couple of weeks.

Participants were initially giving indications of around $190 a ton for HMS #1&2 80:20, but a deal concluded towards the end of the week showed the market remained higher.
