China Leading Motive Battery Makers to Hike Battery Prices in December

Leading motive battery producers in China reportedly will lift battery prices on December 1, SMM understands.

SHANGHAI, Nov. 30 (SMM) – Leading motive battery producers in China reportedly will lift battery prices on December 1, SMM understands.

Markets expect 48v12Ah battery prices to grow to 270-280 yuan or even 300 yuan. However, investors are not confident in price hike by leading battery makers and most retailers hold a wait-and-see attitude.

It is frequently reported that leading motive battery makers will step up battery prices by 10-30 yuan heading into November. But the price hike is delayed by poor end-user consumption.
