China Lead Concentrate TCs Set for More Gains in December

TCs for Chinese 50% lead concentrate are expected to grow 150 yuan per tonne (Pb content) MoM to 2600-2800 yuan per tonne (Pb content) in December, SMM predicts.

SHANGHAI, Nov. 27 (SMM) – TCs for Chinese 50% lead concentrate are expected to grow 150 yuan per tonne (Pb content) MoM to 2600-2800 yuan per tonne (Pb content) in December, SMM predicts.

At present, some domestic lead producers are unwilling to buy ores, leading to poor sales at mines. Some mines thus suspend operation ahead of schedule due to anemic demand and high TCs.

TCs for imported concentrate (Pb 60%, Ag < 1,000 g) should fall $ 2.5 per dry metric tonne (Pb content) to $ 165-175 per dry metric tonne (Pb content) next month.
