SHFE 1601 tin opened at RMB 81,480/mt on Monday’s night session, and briefly plummeted to RMB 80,000/mt, closing the night session at RMB 80,430/mt.

SHANGHAI, Nov. 24 (SMM) –SHFE 1601 tin opened at RMB 81,480/mt on Monday’s night session, and briefly plummeted to RMB 80,000/mt, closing the night session at RMB 80,430/mt. The most active contract opened at RMB 80,370/mt on Tuesday. The contract moved between RMB 80,580-81,740/mt for most of the day, and ended down RMB 90/mt or 0.11% at RMB 81,260/mt. Trading volumes were down 2,138 lots to 8,838 lots, and positions were down 50 lots to 3,870.

Sluggish Transactions in Domestic Secondary Crude Lead Market, Prices at 15,250-15,400 Yuan/mt

The domestic secondary crude lead market experienced sluggish transactions. As of February 6, 2026, the ex-factory tax-exclusive offers for domestic secondary crude lead stood at 15,250-15,400 yuan/mt. Downstream refined lead and alloy smelters gradually entered the holiday period, showing weak stockpiling willingness. Overseas lead ingot suppliers basically halted transactions with China due to poor consumption in the Chinese market, with only some previously concluded shipments maintaining normal in-transit transportation. The trading atmosphere in the secondary crude lead market will continue to weaken next week.
