DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsConsultingSHANGHAI, Nov. 23 (SMM) –SHFE 1601 tin plummeted to RMB 81,230/mt after opening at RMB 84,320/mt on Monday. The decline is due to fall in other base metals and LME tin. Finally, the most active contract ended down RMB 3,770/mt or 4.43% at RMB 81,350/mt. Trading volumes were down 742 lots to 6,700 lots, and positions were down 136 lots to 3,920. The US dollar index tried to break through 100 on growing expectations for US rate hike in December, pressuring base metals.
