Prices of indirect zinc oxide in China tumbled 700 yuan to 13,000 yuan per tonne this past week, SMM reports.

Nov. 20 (SMM) - Prices of indirect zinc oxide in China tumbled 700 yuan to 13,000 yuan per tonne this past week, SMM reports.

Zinc oxide producers saw shrinking orders as tire manufacturers cut output. Meanwhile, demand from ceramic sector also softened, SMM understands.

Most zinc oxide producers were unwilling to build zinc stocks due to falling zinc prices and bearishness toward the market.
