SHANGHAI, Nov. 13 (SMM) - Vedanta Resources’ Konkola Copper Mines will shut down the Nchanga copper mine in Zambia due to losses, zhjs.mobi reports.

The Nchanga copper mine produces 300,000-tpy (copper content) of copper concentrate, and is Konkola Copper Mines’only smelter in Zambia.
