LME nickel prices opened at USD 9,675/mt on Monday, and touched USD 9,750/mt, then plunged in the afternoon.

SHANGHAI, Nov. 10 (SMM) – LME nickel prices opened at USD 9,675/mt on Monday, and touched USD 9,750/mt, then plunged in the afternoon. In Europe and US trade session, LME nickel prices inched down, and closed at USD 9,530/mt, down 0.31%. Trading volumes decreased 2,266 to 4,092 lots, and total positions decreased 796 to 243,883. LME nickel inventories fell 666 to 423,522 mt.

SHFE 1601 nickel contract prices will move between RMB 73,000-74,500/mt today. Spot zinc prices in Shanghai should drop to RMB 72,600-74,000/mt.
