China Makes Breakthrough in Bauxite Flotation Technology

Zhengzhou Mineral Utilization Research Institute has been awarded national intellectual property for its invention of inhibitor that effectively separates diaspore from silicon-containing substances.

SHANGHAI, Nov. 9 (SMM) – Zhengzhou Mineral Utilization Research Institute has been awarded national intellectual property for its invention of inhibitor that effectively separates diaspore from silicon-containing substances, www.gtzyb.com reported. 

The invention also allows alumina recovery rate from bauxite to increase to 74.96% from 53.98%. The invention will provide important technical support for China’s vast reserves of diaspore, the media added.
