SHANGHAI, Nov. 6 (SMM) - Goldman Sachs slashed its medium-term price forecast for base metals, citing cost deflation and weak demand, wallstreetcn.com reports.
The institution sees no turnaround in mining commodity prices due mainly to cost deflation, which is a result of a strong US dollar, falling energy prices, lower input cost and improvement in mining productivity expected.
