SHFE 1601 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 13,725/mt Monday evening, then hovered around opening price, and plummeted to RMB 13,665/mt at the end of trading and closed at RMB 13,705/mt.

SHANGHAI, Nov. 3 (SMM) – SHFE 1601 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 13,725/mt Monday evening, then hovered around opening price, and plummeted to RMB 13,665/mt at the end of trading and closed at RMB 13,705/mt. Trading volumes were 50,000 lots, and total positions increased 3,720 to 153,000.

SHFE 1601 zinc contract prices surged to RMB 13,825/mt after opening on Tuesday, then fluctuated around RMB 13,800/mt, and lost early gains and closed at RMB 13,695/mt, down RMB 25/mt or 0.18%. Trading volumes were up 2,172 to 162,000 lots. Total positions increased 9,148 to 158,000.
