SHANGHAI, Nov. 3 (SMM) - China’s lead-acid battery exports fell 0.67% MoM to 18.12 million pieces in September due to limited growth in overseas demand, China Customs reported.
Among them, ignition batteries accounted for 1.48 million pieces, down 22.79% from August and other types of batteries claimed 16.64 million pieces, up 1.92% MoM.
Only some producers reported a pick-up in orders in traditional peak season and most producers saw falling orders because of light recovery in demand and fierce competitions.
Lead-acid battery exports hit 160.88 million pieces during January-September, accumulatively up 10.09% from a year ago.
