SHFE 1601 nickel opened at RMB 77,100/mt last Friday night and ranged between RMB 76,900-77,300/mt, to end at RMB 76,640/mt.

SHANGHAI, Nov. 2 (SMM) – SHFE 1601 nickel opened at RMB 77,100/mt last Friday night and ranged between RMB 76,900-77,300/mt, to end at RMB 76,640/mt.

SHFE nickel opened Monday trading session at RMB 76,600/mt and moved higher to RMB 77,390/mt. Later, the contract fell back with shorts gathering strength and closed at RMB 76,590/mt. Trading volumes dropped 145,000 to 599,000 lots but positions increased 288,000 to 335,000.
