Zinc oxide prices fell to RMB 14,000 yuan per tonne level this past week, dragged down by zinc prices, SMM data show.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 30 (SMM) - Zinc oxide prices fell to RMB 14,000 yuan per tonne level this past week, dragged down by zinc prices, SMM data show.

There were some zinc oxide producers reporting shrinking orders, especially from titanium dioxide sector. A few zinc oxide plants were forced to cut output. They are unwilling to build zinc stocks.

Prices for hot-galvanizing slag (95%) in Tianjin and Hebei were 11,850-12,200 yuan per tonne this week.
