SHANGHAI, Oct. 30 (SMM) - Some zinc smelters in Inner Mongolia hiked TCs of domestic zinc concentrate by 100-200 yuan per tonne (zinc content) this past week due to ample supply there, SMM finds in its latest survey.

TCs of domestic zinc concentrate in Henan also increased 100 yuan per tonne (zinc content) at some smelters, but some zinc smelters in Yunnan lowered domestic zinc concentrate TCs by 100 yuan per tonne (zinc content) on tightened ore supply.

Profit from imported zinc concentrate narrowed 120 yuan to 480 yuan per tonne (zinc content) above domestic zinc concentrate this week, SMM calculates.

TCs of domestic zinc concentrate for November are flat at 5,300-5,400 yuan per tonne, according to SMM quotes October 26. TCs of imported zinc concentrate fall $7.5 to $180-200 per dry metric tonne (DMT).

Domestic zinc concentrate TCs (50%) held largely stable at 5,300-5,500 yuan per tonne (zinc content) this past week, and TCs of imported zinc concentrate (50%) were $180-200 per dry metric tonne (DMT), with no trading reported at $160-170.
