SHFE Zinc Prices Closed Down (Oct. 29, 2015)

SHFE 1512 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 14,080/mt Wednesday evening, then hovered around RMB 14,180/mt, and closed at RMB 14,200/mt, up RMB 50/mt.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 29 (SMM) –SHFE 1512 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 14,080/mt Wednesday evening, then hovered around RMB 14,180/mt, and closed at RMB 14,200/mt, up RMB 50/mt. Trading volumes were 137,000 lots, and total positions decreased 1,164 to 130,000.

SHFE 1601 zinc contracts became the most actively traded contracts on Thursday, with prices opening at RMB 14,165/mt, then hovering around RMB 14,100/mt, and closed at RMB 14,805/mt, down RMB 25/mt. Trading volumes were up 34,000 to 107,000 lots. Total positions increased 6,942 to 123,000.
