PARIS (Scrap Monster): As per the latest statistics provided by the French Steel Federation (FFA), the country’s scrap prices declined considerably during the month of October this year. This is in comparison with the scrap prices during the month before. The average scrap prices during the month witnessed decline of €41 per ton during Oct ’15.

The price of busheling scrap declined by €42 per ton to touch €154 per ton.

Shredded scrap prices dropped sharply by €43 per ton to €149 per ton during this period when compared with September ‘15.

Also, prices of H2 scrap too dropped €40 per ton during the month to €133 per ton.

Meantime, the price of H1 scrap witnessed significant decline of €42 per ton from September ’15 levels to touch €148 per ton.
