Profit at Jiangxi Copper Down for Five Consecutive Quarters on Oversupply

SHANGHAI, Oct. 29 (SMM) – Jiangxi Copper Corporation – China’s top copper producer, said its profit has been shrinking since Q3 2014 as oversupply took a hit on copper prices, wenhua.com reported. 

The company reported 332.75 million yuan ($52.39 million) in net profit in Q3 2015, down from 1.13 billion yuan it posted a year ago.
