27% Copper Wire and Cable Producers See Orders Rise in October

About 27% of copper wire&cable producers are optimistic toward orders in October, citing more orders from the State Grid and some large end-users.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 26 (SMM) - About 27% of copper wire&cable producers are optimistic toward orders in October, citing more orders from the State Grid and some large end-users, according to an SMM survey of 22 domestic copper wire&cable producers.

59% believe orders will remain steady. 14% expect orders to fall as China’s National Day holiday will affect operating rates at end-users.
