In Shanghai, spot copper traded between discounts of RMB 50/mt and premiums of RMB 40/mt on Friday.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 23 (SMM) – In Shanghai, spot copper traded between discounts of RMB 50/mt and premiums of RMB 40/mt on Friday, versus RMB 39,420-39,540/mt for standard-quality copper and RMB 39,450-39,600/mt for high-quality copper.

Cargo holders held offers firm between discounts of RMB 40/mt and premiums of RMB 40/mt. In the afternoon, spot prices only printed a drop of RMB 10/mt. Transactions were softening.
