






SHANGHAI, Oct. 23 (SMM) - Zijing Mining, China’s most profitable gold producer, expressed interest in the purchase for Glencore’s Cobar copper mine in Australia, wenhua.com reports.
The Cobar copper mine produces 50,000 mt of copper concentrate per year. Zijin Mining is seeking for overseas assets at lower price. The company bought mines in Papua New Guinea and Congo for a total of $710 million in May.
