In Shanghai, spot copper trade between discounts of RMB 30/mt and premiums of RMB 40/mt on Thursday.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 22 (SMM) – In Shanghai, spot copper traded between discounts of RMB 30/mt and premiums of RMB 40/mt on Thursday, versus RMB 39,150-39,250/mt for standard-quality copper and RMB 39,180-39,300/mt for high-quality copper.

Cargo holders were not active in selling and held offers firm between discounts of RMB 10/mt and premiums of RMB 40/mt. In the afternoon, spot supply gradually increased in market, shifting standard-quality copper to discounts of RMB 10-30/mt. But high-quality copper prices stayed firm.
