SHFE Zinc Prices Closed Up (Oct. 21, 2015)

SHFE 1512 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 14,250/mt Tuesday evening, and touched RMB 14,370/mt but fell back and closed at RMB 14,295/mt, up RMB 85/mt.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 21 (SMM) – SHFE 1512 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 14,250/mt Tuesday evening, and touched RMB 14,370/mt but fell back and closed at RMB 14,295/mt, up RMB 85/mt. Trading volumes were 112,000 lots, and total positions were 160,000.

SHFE 1512 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 14,295/mt on Wednesday, and plunged but then stabilized at RMB 14,200-14,230/mt, and closed at RMB 14,225/mt, up RMB 15/mt. Trading volumes were down 43,334 to 255,000 lots. Total positions increased 2,456 to 162,000.

SHFE 1604 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 13,660/mt on Tuesday evening and closed at RMB 13,655/mt, down RMB 60/mt.
