For night trading Monday, SHFE 1601 nickel started at RMB 79,150/mt and once dipped to RMB 78,320/mt.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 20 (SMM) – For night trading Monday, SHFE 1601 nickel started at RMB 79,150/mt and once dipped to RMB 78,320/mt. Later, the contract rebounded after finding support at the 20-day moving average, to close at RMB 78,790/mt.

SHFE nickel opening Tuesday trading session at RMB 78,730/mt and tested support at the 20-day moving average with closing price at RMB 78,320/mt, down 1.05%. Trading volumes fell 2,394 to 673,000 lots and positions dropped 17,600 to 252,000.
