SHANGHAI, Oct. 20 (SMM) - China’s zinc concentrate imports transit the Port of Fangchenggang surged in the first three quarters of 2015, according to people.cn.
Imported zinc concentrate inspected totaled 607,100 tonnes in the first three quarters of the year, worth $ 410.22 million, up 44.7% and 39.4%, respectively, year-over-year, Fangchenggang Entry-Exit Inspection & Quarantine Bureau data show.
Most of these imports were made by Guangxi’s producers. Imports by Nandan Nanfang Nonferrous Metal Company Limited represent 58.4% of the province’s total at 354,800 tonnes.
