SMM says 17% Chinese copper wire rod processors believe orders will improve, citing higher operating rates at copper wire&cable processors.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 19 (SMM) – About 17% Chinese copper wire rod processors believe orders will improve in October, citing higher operating rates at copper wire&cable processors, SMM said in its latest survey.

77% of copper wire rod processors surveyed by SMM expect orders to stabilize in October. Only 6% are pessimistic toward their orders, arguing maintenance and China’s National Day holiday should reduce their output.
