The average prices of Zamark #3 and Zamark #5 rose 480 yuan to 15,470-15,560 yuan per tonne and 15,770-15,860 yuan per tonne last week, according to SMM data.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 19 (SMM) - The average prices of Zamark #3 and Zamark #5 rose 480 yuan to 15,470-15,560 yuan per tonne and 15,770-15,860 yuan per tonne last week, according to SMM data.

Most producers left production low in October, which constrained their purchases for zinc. Only a few ramped up output on higher orders, SMM says.
