Primary lead production in China is predicted to increase 7,000 tonnes, SMM predicts.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 16 (SMM) – Primary lead production in China is predicted to increase 7,000 tonnes in October, SMM predicts.

In October, production from Huludao Zinc Industry and Chihong Zn & Ge flows into market after maintenance. Besides, Haicheng Chengxin Nonferrous Metal and Jiyuan Wanyang Smelting Group return to normal production. Both factors will grow primary lead production.

The average operating rate at Chinese primary lead smelters edges down to 61.81% in September.
