Aluminum prices continued falling in east China spot market on Friday, but at slower pace.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 9 (SMM) – Aluminum prices continued falling in east China spot market on Friday, but at slower pace. Sellers held back after SHFE aluminum rebounded, and downstream buying picked up slightly. Prices were mainly between RMB 11,480-11,520/mt in Shanghai and Wuxi, discounts of RMB 40-30/mt over SHFE 1510 aluminum, versus RMB 11,480-11,510/mt in Hangzhou.
