SHFE Zinc Prices Closed with Gains (Sept. 30, 2015)

SHFE 1511 lead contract prices opened at RMB 13,200/mt, with the high-end of the price range RMB 13,270/mt, and closed at RMB 13,245/mt, up RMB 185/mt.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 30 (SMM) –SHFE 1512 zinc contract prices hovered around RMB 13,590/mt on Wednesday, and pulled up in the afternoon as a large number of shorts left the market, and closed at RMB 13,820/mt, up RMB 420/mt or 3.13%. Trading volumes were up 3,322 to 121,000 lots. Total positions decreased 1,838 to 149,000.
