PARIS (Scrap Monster): As per the latest statistics provided by the French Steel Federation (FFA), the country’s scrap prices declined marginally during the month of September this year. This is in comparison with the scrap prices during the month before.
The price of busheling scrap declined by €20 per ton to touch €196 per ton.
Shredded scrap prices dropped sharply by €13 per ton to €192 per ton during this period when compared with August ‘15.
Also, prices of H2 scrap too dropped €15 per ton during the month to €173 per ton.
Meantime, the price of H1 scrap witnessed significant decline of €14 per ton from August ’15 levels to touch €190 per ton.
