China’s ignition battery prices are likely to grow in October thanks to an improvement in demand, SMM predicts.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 25 (SMM) – China’s ignition battery prices are likely to grow in October thanks to an improvement in demand, SMM predicts.

Currently, demand for ignition batteries used for farm vehicles improves as autumn harvest already started in some regions with weather turning cool.

Sales promotion for branded batteries helps to reduce some inventories at producers in September. And some leading battery makers plan to halt battery sales promotion for some models in October due to tightened supply, boding well for battery prices.
