China Lead Concentrate TCs Set for Gains in October

SHANGHAI, Sept. 25 (SMM) – Chinese lead concentrate (Pb 50%) TCs are expected to rise 300 yuan per tonne (Pb content) MoM in October, SMM reckons.

SMM quotes domestic lead concentrate TCs at 2,300-2,600 yuan per tonne (Pb content) for October on September 25, up 300 yuan per tonne (Pb content) from September.

Mines maintain steady shipment to market but lead smelters show little interest in buying with mounting inventories. As such, lead smelters are willing to further increase TCs for domestic concentrate.

Mainstream TCs for domestic 50% concentrate were 2,300-2,500 yuan per tonne (Pb content) this week with some offers as high as 2,600 yuan per tonne (Pb content) for 60% concentrate.
