SHFE 1601 tin opened at RMB 99,830/mt on Tuesday.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 22 (SMM) –SHFE 1601 tin opened at RMB 99,830/mt on Tuesday. Entry of shorts at the tail of the day caused the contract to take a freefall and end down RMB 1,500/mt or 1.49% at RMB 99,050/mt. Trading volumes were down 176 lots to 454 lots, and positions were down 12 lots to 776 lots.
