China Aluminum Output Falls in August, SMM Says

China’s aluminum output fell in August after 2.56 million tonne growth in July, SMM data showed.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 21 (SMM) – China’s aluminum output fell in August after 2.56 million tonne growth in July, SMM data showed.

Output was 2.6 million tonnes in August, down from July’s 2.62 million tonnes, but up 10% from a year ago.
