SHFE 1511 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 14,380/mt Thursday evening, then edged down to RMB 14,345/mt, and climbed later on and closed at RMB 14,390/mt, down RMB 65/mt.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 18 (SMM) – SHFE 1511 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 14,380/mt Thursday evening, then edged down to RMB 14,345/mt, and climbed later on and closed at RMB 14,390/mt, down RMB 65/mt.

SHFE 1511 zinc contract prices hovered between RMB 14,350-14,390/mt on Friday, and dipped to RMB 14,310/mt at the end of trading, and closed at RMB 14,310/mt, down RMB 145/mt or 1%. Trading volumes decreased 17,590 to 117,146 lots, and total positions grew 6,820 to 135,484.
