SHANGHAI, Sept. 16 (SMM) – SMM China (1st) Antimony Market Trading Summit, held on Sept. 9-10 in Shanghai, came to a successful conclusion. SMM will bring you a brief review over the conference. 

At the conference, a business-2-business model for the antimony industry was introduced by SMM. The third-party trading model, against the backdrop of the new Internet Plus plan in China, will offer an open and fair trading environment. 

The trading model was also welcomed by the attendees, saying the traditional trading model has hindered the development of the industry due to low transparency and inconvenient trading channel.   

A total number of 71 enterprises, 101 attendees from the antimony industry, out of 75 enterprises or 105 attendees registering for the conference, presented the meeting. The 71 companies attending the conference are mainly antimony ore miners and traders, antimony smelters and traders, antimony oxide and other processors and traders, and end-users as well, such as plastic, rubber, glass, and storage battery producers.  

Four overseas antimony ore suppliers, including GPM Chemicresource LLC, Polymet Trading Limited, Voyager Group and Global Connection, also attended the meeting, providing a communication opportunity between Chinese antimony smelters and processing enterprises, and overseas ore suppliers.  

SMM will introduce a new webpage for antimony on its English website, to offer better services.
