SHANGHAI, Sept. 14 (SMM) – Chalco, China’s aluminum giant, and Shenhua Group recently signed an agreement over joint construction of alumina project in Hebei Province, wenhua.com reported.
The JV, with total investment at 10 billion yuan, will have an annual capacity of 4 million tonnes of alumina. The project will source imported bauxite from the Port of Huanghua as raw materials and sell its product to central and west China, such as Inner Mongolia and Xinjiang, the media added.
