SHANGHAI, Sept. 11 (SMM) - Zinc oxide producers in Shandong and Hebei restarted production following the 3-day holiday in China for the 70th anniversary of Japan’s defeat in World WarⅡ, SMM reports.
“These zinc oxide producers reported slight improvement in orders this week, but overall demand remained soft,” said SMM zinc group. “When combined with bearishness toward the market, these plants maintained raw material inventories low,”
Prices of indirect zinc oxide stayed at 14,800-15,200 yuan per tonne this past week, according to SMM data.
