SHFE Tin Ends Up RMB 150/mt (Sept. 8, 2015)

SHANGHAI, Sept. 8 (SMM) –SHFE 1509 tin moved around RMB 99,300/mt for most of the day on Tuesday. The contract ended up RMB 150/mt or 0.15% at RMB 100,150/mt.  Trading volumes were down 28 lots to 76 lots, and positions were down 36 lots to 760 lots. 

China’s exports fell 5.5% YoY in August, the second straight month of decline, but the decline slowed compared with that in July. Imports dropped 13.8% YoY. China will release more economic data later this week, including investment, consumption, etc.
