The export statistics released by the Japanese Ministry of Finance (MoF) indicates that the country's H-beam exports totaled 33,000 tons during July '15.
TOKYO (Scrap Monster): The latest export statistics released by the Japanese Ministry of Finance (MoF) indicates that the country’s H-beam exports totaled nearly 33,000 tons during the month of July this year.
According to MoF data, the country’s H-beam export prices averaged around US$ 504.67 per ton FOB during the month.
The largest export destination of Japanese H-beams was South Korea. The exports to South Korea totaled 9,082 tons, constituting more than one-fourth of the total exports by the country. The second largest importer of Japanese H-beams was Hong Kong with almost 18% export share of Japan during the month.
The other key importers during the month were Philippines (3,457 tons), Malaysia (2,981 tons) and Taiwan (1,980 tons).
The cumulative H-beam exports by Japan during the initial seven-month period of the year totaled 280,200 tons.
