SHANGHAI, Sept. 7 (SMM) –Chalco and Dongfeng Motor Corporation (DFM) signed a strategic agreement on establishment of DFM-Chalco automotive aluminum alloy laboratory on August 28, finance.sina.com reported.
The laboratory is dedicated to R&D and applications of new materials and technology in automotive aluminum alloy field.
Lighter car body is the direction of the automobile industry. DFM’s EJ series electric vehicles are equipped with all-aluminum car body at present.
