SHANGHAI, Sept. 2 (SMM) – TCs for Chinese lead concentrate (Pb 50%) are expected to increase further for near term, SMM reckons.

Parts of domestic lead smelters tend to further raise domestic concentrate TCs with some offers already hitting 2,300 yuan per tonne (Pb content). Certain smelters cut purchase for low-silver concentrate, supporting TCs for domestic materials.

Mainstream TCs are 2,100-2,200 yuan per tonne (Pb content) for domestic concentrate. Imported concentrate (Pb 60%, Ag < 1,000 g) mainly quote 175-185 per dry metric tonne.
