SHFE Lead Prices down RMB 95/mt (Aug. 31, 2015)

SHFE 1510 lead opened at RMB 13,520/mt for night trading last Friday and once dipped to RMB 13,330/mt.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 31 (SMM) – SHFE 1510 lead opened at RMB 13,520/mt for night trading last Friday and once dipped to RMB 13,330/mt, to close at RMB 13,445/mt, up RMB 5/mt.

LME market was closed on Monday and thus base metals posted large drops with exit of longs. SHFE 1510 lead dived to RMB 13,420/mt at one point but suffered sell-offs near session’s end, to close at RMB 13,345/mt, down RMB 95/mt. Trading volumes were about 4,302 lots and positions reduced 226 to 16,028.

SHFE 1709 lead opened at RMB 18,555/mt and closed at RMB 18,425/mt, down RMB 15/mt or 0.08%.
