SHANGHAI, Aug. 28 (SMM) – China saw lead-acid battery exports increase to 21.58 million in July, by 17.07% MoM and 14.56% YoY, China Customs reported.
In July, total 179,870 ignition batteries were exported, slipping 15.22% from June and 9.83% YoY. The top five import countries were Benin, Malaysia, Mexico, Japan and the United Arab Emirates. The top five export enterprises were Dynavolt Power, Zhangzhou Huawei Power Supply Technology, Hangzhou Huitong Foreign Trade and Guangzhou Mintong trading.
The remaining battery exports totaled 19.78 million in July, up 21.27% MoM and 17.45% YoY. Of these, 35.4% batteries were exported to India.
Lead-acid battery exports were up 12.38% YoY to 125 million during January-July 2015.
