SHFE 1601 nickel opened at RMB 74,300/mt for night trading Wednesday and then moved in tight range between RMB 74,300-75,000/mt。

SHANGHAI, Aug. 27 (SMM) – SHFE 1601 nickel opened at RMB 74,300/mt for night trading Wednesday and then moved in tight range between RMB 74,300-75,000/mt, to close at RMB 74,500/mt.

SHFE 1601 nickel opened Thursday trading session at RMB 74,750/mt and once moved higher to RMB 75,980/mt. In the second half trading, base metals prices were supported by a rise in Chinese A-shares market and ended at RMB 76,160/mt. Trading volumes decreased 103,000 to 472,000 lots and positions declined 15,338 to 227,000.
